We have been working for months to provide Optical Fibred Cross Connected VPS’s from our NY Data Centre.
To understand what a cross connected VPS is it is firstly important to understand the normal life cycle of a trade.
In normal circumstances VPS providers have seperate Data Centres from Brokers and trades rasied on a VPS have to travel out through the networking equipment of a VPS provider’s Data Centre (this is where first part of latency comes from).
Once the MT4 trade has left the DC it has to travel through the internet via various ISP’s, leased lines, networking equipment (again more latency) then onto the destination data centre to again go through more switches/routers etc finally to get to the broker’s servers.
All of this activity is measured in milliseconds which may seem fast however in computing terms a millisecond is a long time (bear in mind modern processors can execute billions of intructions per second).
How Does a Cross Connected VPS Work?
It is very simple….we remove as much of the journey as possible, the trade is generated on our VPS in NY and travels only to a dedicated fibre line WITHIN the data centre that is directly connected to our servers. It never leaves the DC, there is no reliance on multiple ISP’s, Data centres etc….it goes directly to the broker’s server within a few metres of our racks.
This is why we are able to get the following latencies to our partner brokers who include FINFX and FXPIG.

Gordon McArthur established BeeksFX in 2011 after growing increasingly frustrated by the lack of low latency infrastructure offerings for retail traders. Gordon previously worked for IBM and IBM Business Partners for 19 years in various commercial roles within the IBM Software Business.
Tony is an IT industry veteran having held various roles in the last 25 years within the IT industry from infrastructure projects to large application roll outs. Tony is ultimately in charge of the BeeksFX infrastructure.
Simon is a Chartered Accountant with over 25 years' experience across a number of businesses. He qualified with KPMG and was a general practice manager before moving into industry. He has since held a number of senior roles in a variety of professional services firms, including Andersen and Deloitte, as well as medium sized accounting and law firms. Simon has a track record of performance improvement in the businesses he has worked for. His last role in this sector was for Campbell Dallas LLP as Chief Operating Officer where he guided through a significant period of change.
